3 For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth?
4 But if we hope for that which we see not,
5 then do we with patience wait for it.
6 And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for
7 us with groanings which cannot be uttered;
8 and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to
9 the will of God.
10 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good,
11 even to them that are called according to
12 his purpose.
13 For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained
14 to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
15 and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
16 What then shall we say to these things? If God
17 is for us, who
18 is against us?
19 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?
20 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth;
21 who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

3 For they, being ignorant ofGod's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own [righteousness], have not submitted to the righteousness ofGod.
4 For Christ is [the] end of law for righteousness to every one that believes.
5 For Moses lays down in writing the righteousness which is of the law, The man who has practised those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down;
7 or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among [the] dead.
8 But what says it? The word is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart thatGod has raised him from among [the] dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with [the] heart is believed to righteousness; and with [the] mouth confession made to salvation.
11 For the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all [is] rich towards all that call upon him.
13 For every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without one who preaches?
15 and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report?
17 So faith then [is] by a report, but the report byGod's word.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yea, surely, Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the extremities of the habitable world.
19 But I say, Has not Israel known? First, Moses says, I will provoke you to jealousy through [them that are] not a nation: through a nation without understanding I will anger you.
20 But Esaias is very bold, and says, I have been found by those not seeking me; I have become manifest to those not inquiring after me.
21 But unto Israel he says, All the day long I have stretched out my hands unto a people disobeying and opposing.

1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved.
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, “The one who does them will live by them.”
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down);
7 or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)”

A long, long time ago, there was nothing at all - no earth, no sky, no animals, no people. It was all dark and empty. But God was there! God is so powerful that He can make anything just by speaking. So God said "Let there be light!" and BOOM! There was light everywhere! God saw that the light was beautiful and good. He called the light "day" and the darkness "night." This was the very first day when God started making our wonderful world!

Before anything existed - no planets, stars, or life - God decided to create the universe. The earth started out as a dark, empty place covered with water. But God's Spirit was there, ready to bring order and beauty to everything. When God spoke and said "Let there be light," light immediately appeared because God's words have incredible power. God looked at the light and was pleased with what He had made. He organized time by separating light (day) from darkness (night), creating the first 24-hour period. This shows us that God is organized and purposeful in everything He does.
