But thou art he that took me out of the womb;

Thou didst make me trust

I was cast upon thee from the womb;

Thou art my God since my mother bare me.

Be not far from me; for trouble is near;

For there is none to help.

God is our refuge and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.

Therefore will we not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the heart of the seas;
3
Though the waters thereof roar [and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river the streams whereof make glad the city ofGod, the sanctuary of the habitations of the Most High.
5
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:God shall help her at the dawn of the morning.

The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Jehovah of hosts is with us; theGod of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.

Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he hath made in the earth:

He hath made wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire.

Be still, and know that I amGod: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Jehovah of hosts is with us; theGod of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.

Clap your hands, all ye nations; shout to God with a voice of exultation.

For the Lord most high is terrible; [he is] a great king over all the earth.

He has subdued the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

He has chosen out his inheritance for us, the beauty of Jacob which he loved. Pause.

God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with a sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to our God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.

For God is king of all the earth: sing praises with understanding.

God reigns over the nations: God sits upon the throne of his holiness.

The rulers of the people are assembled with the God of Abraam: for God's mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.

Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;

though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.

There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5
God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
6
The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice and the earth melted.

The LORD of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come, see the LORD’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
